the veins in a leaf have nice and natural pattern to be modelling with. the idea of branching out is similar to the snowflake. The branching systerm can be applied in macro and micro scale.

Snowflake has a beautiful geometric form and it also starts from an origin (centre) and then branch outwards. Each small branch follows the same geometric system and keep growing. This can be an intersting experiment with GH modeling.

 Same Urchi Shell, this image shows that the shell follows the geometric shape of pentagon, which forms two stars.
